I am in the semi-finall! The last task was a wedding bouquet ‘in the clouds’. I choose for the clouds in the evening.. Lots of detail. I used the glue technique on a base of wire.
Impression of the World Cup
The central theme of the Worldcup was ‘sustainability’. I used all sustainable materials: no artificial materials.

My ‘Canopy‘ is based on three pillars. The base of the structure is covered with paper in the shape of fungi. It had to be a suspended work so it actually hangs in the structure. All flowers are placed in little glass containers in the form of leaves. The person next to me is Pieter Teisman. He came all the way from China to help me.

The second task was a table decoration. The theme was ‘Dancing witn the waves’. It had to be a table for two. I made two small tables of paper wire (Oasis) The ‘waves’ are made from iron. The whole construction is placed on thin ‘pillars’ that make it light.

A wedding in the clouds. My inspiration was the evening sky with all the warm colours of orange, pink and red. I used the glue technique with Oasis cold glue.
The flowers I used are sponsored by Anthura, Marginpar, Ansu-Vanda and Hoek. The base materials like paper wire and glue, are sponsored by Oasis.
An overview of all tabledecorations. The theme of this task was ‘Dancing with the waves. A table for two’. It looks good!

Second task: dancing on the waves. A table for two.

First task: our canopy. An impression of the work.

Day two in Manchester. All flowers did arrive and materials look fine. Now practice with flags.

The truck from the Netherlands was at the right time in Manchester! Some flowers will arrive tomorrow.

Preparation. We are ready to leave. Start of a big adventure!
