It is May now. In the Netherlands, it is spring. I know some more about the way how I will make my arrangements. It looks like there is a lot of time but right now, I have to be sure everything will get finished in time so we made a schedule. Also, I work in a shop as a florist, so I can not spend all my time on this preparation. I send my questions to the organisation and I have the idea we do everything we can to make it a once in a lifetime event! I have had contact with my first sponsors so I made a start!
The preparations for the World Championship started in April. First of all, I have to think about a lot of things. It is not only the flower arranging. How to get the materials on the right spot, how to make the constructions. Reading very carefully the rules. Plan in time and in logistics. But it’s fun and I get things done now. At home, we make the constructions for three arrangements. When these constructions are ready, I can start thinking about the flowers and the composition.
